Gold & Behold – The Pioneer of Modern Kintsugi in Singapore

In 2021, Gold & Behold's founder, Winnie introduced The Healing Art of Modern Kintsugi to Singapore as a creative outlet to heal from her second depressive episode, becoming Singapore's First Kintsugi artist. Renowned for her artistry and heartfelt approach, she remains unparalleled in blending creativity with healing through this ancient Japanese craft.

Today, Winnie is celebrated as Singapore’s most sought-after Kintsugi artist, having taught over 4,000 students globally.

Winnie’s mastery extends to both Modern and Traditional Kintsugi. As no one was teaching Kintsugi in Singapore in 2021, she took it upon herself to master Modern Kintsugi through self-experimentation and has further honed her expertise in Traditional Kintsugi under the guidance of a Japanese master since 2022.

With over 13 years of experience as an award-winning multidisciplinary artist, Winnie is the exclusive choice for bespoke Kintsugi workshops, trusted by global brands such as Google, Netflix, META, P&G, The LEGO Group, National Museum of Singapore, Ministry of Education, Fei Yue, Loewe, Fresh, Shiseido, Clé de Peau Beauté, Brunello Cucinelli, Boucheron and counting.

Her work has been featured in 8world - Hello Singapore 狮城有约, The Straits Times, Zaobao, Vogue, UFM 1003 and more.

Through her studio, Stay Gold Studio by Gold & Behold, Winnie has hosted over 80 corporate workshops, engaging participants from 3 to 80 years old, while upcycling more than 5,300 defective items. Her workshops attract individuals from diverse backgrounds, including industry leaders, global speakers, entrepreneurs, educators, underserved communities, and anyone seeking a cathartic creative outlet.

Fluent in English and Mandarin, Winnie ensures that her workshops are inclusive and accessible, offering bilingual sessions tailored to her participants' needs.

As a certified Life Coach, ADHD Coach, and depression survivor, Winnie’s journey of self-discovery and healing fuels her passion for helping others embrace their imperfections. Her work pays tribute to her great-grandfather, a craftsman whose legacy continues to inspire her.

Her eye for detail, aesthetic sensibility, and effervescent energy make her the go-to Kintsugi artist for transformative, bespoke experiences. Through her artistry, Winnie fosters collective healing, empowering participants to transform brokenness into powerful stories of resilience and connection.

Winnie can't wait to share her love for Kintsugi with you! 💕

Stay gold! ✨
